The 2024 WWE Draft is official, and a big name will be involved this year.

The WWE Draft will take place on April 26 and 29, beginning on an episode of Smackdown and concluding three days later during Monday Night Raw. The draft will see some talents change roster, going to either Raw or Smackdown.

The event will also see some wrestlers from NXT receive a call-up to the main roster. It was announced on this week’s Raw broadcast that Ilja Dragunov, the current NXT Champion, will be among the names eligible for the upcoming draft.

Dragunov was showcased on Raw this week, overcoming Shinsuke Nakamura in a quick performance. He successfully defended his title at NXT Stand & Deliver last weekend, beating Tony D’Angelo. His run with the title started last September and has lasted nearly 200 days in total.
