Jon Roy claims he was fired.

Drew Cordeiro, owner of Beyond Wrestling, sent out a statement via the promotion’s official X account. Effective immediately, the promotion’s Executive Producer Jon Roy has been suspended for derogatory language. Cordeiro added that he’ll address the situation further when his schedule permits.

Effective immediately I have indefinitely suspended our executive producer Jon Roy.

Our code of conduct states derogatory language will not be tolerated.

I’ll address this further when my schedule allows.

On his X page, Jon Roy claims he was fired from Beyond:

I got fired, so I’m sure all 8 people that got mad at me are still going to support their local favorites because I won’t be there.

Gonna go live in the real world where your fake outrage doesn’t matter.

On July 4th, Beyond is going to be hosting Drew Gulak’s return to the independent scene following his WWE contract not being renewed. In April, Ronda Rousey shared an alleged incident between herself and Gulak from 2022 and stated that he pulled the drawstring on her sweatpants.

Gulak gave a comment on the matter and noted that it was accidental. Following that, Gulak was no longer featured in NXT alongside the No Quarter Catch Crew stable (Damon Kemp, Myles Borne & Charlie Dempsey).
