NXT Champion Trick Williams joined Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in the ring. Rhodes revealed that General Manager Ava granted him permission to announce that Williams will be defending his NXT Championship at the Heatwave P.L.E. on July 7th against the winner of a 25-man Battle Royal on 6/18. Rhodes stated that some people in the match might be from other locker rooms. Later in the show, Rhodes ran into Shawn Spears and then Ethan Page and Lexis King joined the fray. All three declared for the Battle Royal and Rhodes said it seems like they’re all in a good place.

The first-ever Women’s North American Champion is Kelani Jordan and she won the belt at NXT Battleground. Her first challenger is going to be Michin and their match is taking place on 6/18. Michin went one-on-one with Jaida Parker. The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows) came out to support Michin and Anderson stopped Parker from using a chair which led to Michin securing the win. Backstage, Jaida expressed to fellow O.T.M. members Bronco Nima and Lucien Price that she was not upset at them for being absent. She added that they allow her to go to the ring solo because she can handle herself.

Prior to the aforementioned match between Michin and Parker, there was another Joe Hendry reference to follow up on Pat McAfee’s reference on Monday Night Raw. Parker brought up Michin’s name and Michin hit her from behind. Vic Joseph said on commentary, ‘You say her name and she appears.’

The television return of Wendy Choo occurred and a more serious/darker version of the character was introduced. Choo submitted Brinley Reece.

Eddy Thorpe made his TV in-ring return and scored a win over Tavion Heights. Post-match, No Quarter Catch Crew (Charlie Dempsey, Damon Kemp & Myles Borne) were talking about the match and Dempsey instructed Borne to bring Tavion to him as he’s interested in possibly recruiting him.

NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez addressed the women’s division and out came the likes of Jacy Jayne, Jazmyn Nyx, Lash Legend, Jakara Jackson and Lola Vice. Vice and Perez ended up banding together and cleared the ring.

Lexis King scored a win over Dante Chen in their Singapore Cane match.

The trio of Gallus (Joe Coffey, Wolfgang & Mark Coffey) bested Wes Lee, Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne.
