The locker room has made that transition smooth for him.

As of this writing, it was just two weeks ago that Ricochet made his All Elite Wrestling debut. He arrived as a part of the Casino Gauntlet match and then went on to pick up his first singles win on Dynamite over Kyle Fletcher.

With AEW heading to Ricochet’s home state of Kentucky for the September 11th edition of Dynamite, he guest appeared on The Babyfaces Podcast to promote the show. He stated that the transition to AEW has been ‘pretty smooth’ for him and he credits the familiar faces in the locker room for being a part of that transition.

Man, Wembley was amazing. It really gave that big feel, that big show feel, the big spike. It really did, and then, the locker rooms make things different. Both locker rooms are great. I’ve known people here in All Elite for, man, probably my whole career I’ve known all these guys. Literally, my whole career. Chuck Taylors and some of those guys since day one I’ve known. So, it was honestly a pretty easy transition. It was pretty smooth for me to transition over. I haven’t seen a lot of these guys in five, six, seven years. Maybe longer. But, honestly, it was kind of like I saw them last weekend. We started right back where we left off… Obviously, the environments are different so those are different but really at the end of the day, I’ve had fun my whole career and this is just going to reignite that spark, that fire that still was there but it just needed some gasoline to throw on it. To ignite it bigger and I think AEW’s gonna be that gasoline.

After Will Ospreay retained his International Championship at All Out, he mentioned Ricochet during a backstage interview which led to the two talents jawing at one another.
