If Goldberg wants to wrestle again, GUNTHER said he’s happy to teach him a lesson.

The first-ever men’s and women’s Crown Jewel Champions are going to be crowned at the WWE Crown Jewel Premium Live Event. It’ll be WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax taking on Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan in addition to Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes facing World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER.

The Crown Jewel Title was first unveiled at Bad Blood. GUNTHER came out to talk about it and ended up focusing his attention on WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg who was seated ringside. Goldberg jumped the barricade but security prevented anything from progressing.

GUNTHER addressed the run-in on La Previa de WWE: Crown Jewel. He said he was trying to lighten the mood but Goldberg does not take things lightly. He added that if Goldberg wants to get back in the ring, he’ll gladly teach him a lesson.

So I was invited out there (at Bad Blood) to speak about the Crown Jewel Championship and we had a lot of legends in the house, and I met a lot of them backstage and one of the very few that I didn’t meet that I just saw was there before was Goldberg so when our eyes crossed, basically, I was like, why not break some balls a little bit? He doesn’t seem able to take things lightly. I tried to lighten up the mood a little bit… If push comes to shove and he thinks he wants to get back into the business and wrestle again, then, I’m happy to teach him a lesson.

Goldberg’s last two matches were in Saudi Arabia at the 2022 Elimination Chamber and 2021 Crown Jewel. In 2022, he challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal Title and in 2021, he faced Bobby Lashley in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
