Khan chats diversity.

Going into the 11/20 installment of AEW Dynamite, company President Tony Khan is making the media rounds and one of his stops was CHGO Sports.

As the chat moved along, Khan was asked about his presentation of Black wrestlers in AEW. He stated that he believes most of the top Black wrestlers in the world are in his company.

Well, I think you just said it. I’m conscious of it (Black representation in wrestling) but I also think that these are all some of the best wrestlers in AEW you just named so, we’re really lucky to have those great stars and we’ve been fortunate enough to be able to build up some stars and also have a lot of great free agents come in to where I think so many of the top wrestlers, some of the top Black wrestlers in the world are in AEW and I really think most of the top Black wrestlers in the world are now in AEW but I think that is a conscious thing but I also think it’s great and it’s awesome to hear that.

Three of the newer additions to the AEW talent roster are The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin & MVP). Lashley is going to be making his AEW in-ring debut at Full Gear against Swerve Strickland.
