The IWGP Tag Titles have been vacated and will be up for grabs at Wrestle Dynasty.

Vying for the championships will be The Young Bucks against Great-O-Khan and a mystery partner of his choosing.

The decision to vacate the titles was made due to a knee injury to Great-O-Khan’s partner, HENARE. The pair became champions on November 4th with a win over Mikey Nicholls and Shane Haste at NJPW Power Struggle.

The title match will take place at the Tokyo Dome on January 5th at Wrestle Dynasty.

Per NJPW:

…a change to the originally announced card has had to be implemented as the right knee injury to HENARE means he and Great-O-Khan have been forced to vacate the IWGP Tag Team titles. O-Khan has insisted to reply to the Young Bucks’ challenge from earlier in the World Tag League tour however, and there will be a match to determine new IWGP Tag champions, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson facing O-Khan and a partner of his choosing.
