Closing out Saturday Night’s Main Event from San Antonio, Texas was the WWE World Heavyweight Championship bout that saw GUNTHER defending against Jey Uso. GUNTHER retained in what was his fifth televised defense of the belt.
The match between Jacob Fatu and Braun Strowman was ruled a disqualification in Strowman’s favor. Fatu continuously hit Strowman’s head into the turnbuckle with hip attacks and when the referee tried to stop him, Fatu tossed the referee out of the ring. Fatu laid out security guards and proceeded to hit two moonsaults onto Strowman. The crowd chanted his name so he went back and did a third.
On X, Bronson Reed reacted to Fatu taking out Strowman:
This chaos is familiar… almost.
But.
I like it!#SNME
It’s okay, guys.
Often imitated, never duplicated.
