Uemura makes his return.
On the bill for NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka was a singles bout between Taichi and BULLET CLUB War Dogs’ SANADA.
During the match, SANADA found ways to cheat and there were occasions when Taichi matched him. SANADA ended up pulling out the win.
Post-match, SANADA and Taiji Ishimori ganged up on his former ‘Just 5 Guys’ stablemate, Taichi. TAKA Michinoku had been taken out, so he was not able to help. Coming down to the ring to make the save was the returning Yuya Uemura.
In the summer of 2024, Uemura had to withdraw from the G1 Climax 34 tournament due to torn triceps. New Japan noted that it would take six months for Uemura to recover. He is now back as a member of Just 4 Guys.
