A positive update on Bey.

It was at TNA Wrestling’s post-Bound For Glory television taping when Chris Bey suffered an injury and had to be stretchered off. Shortly after, he underwent neck surgery and then began the rehabilitation process.

A new update on Bey was provided via his tag team partner, Ace Austin. While Austin was on Busted Open, he said Bey’s recovery is going flawlessly. There was a point when they were not sure how Bey’s recovery would turn out, but said Chris got out of a rehab center in December and present-day, he’s back home in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He’s (Chris Bey) doing so good. It’s really amazing. His recovery is going flawlessly… He’s such an unbelievable fighter and he’s so strong and it’s amazing, you know? Things were tough for a while and we weren’t sure how the recovery process was gonna move along but we were all optimistic and we were all hopeful, and like I said, he is so strong and he’s so motivated. He’s back in Vegas. He got out of the rehab center in Detroit back in — at the end of December. So he’s been in Vegas for almost a month and that’s going really well and he’s stoked to be home and just… I can’t wait for him to tell his story. It’s gonna be the greatest story ever told. I’m really excited for him and I wish I could say more.

On March 23rd, Future Stars of Wrestling is hosting a benefit show for Bey and the likes of former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland is set to appear.

TNA has a link on their official website to support Bey’s recovery.
