On the eve of the 2025 New Japan Cup tournament beginning, the promotion is presenting its 53rd Anniversary Event on March 6th from the Ota-City General Gymnasium in Tokyo.
The full card was announced and it’ll be headlined by newly crowned IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Hirooki Goto defending against Hiroshi Tanahashi. After Goto’s victory, he nominated Tanahashi to be his first challenger.
In addition to that, El Phantasmo will be putting the World Television Title up for grabs and an open challenge. Below is the full 53rd Anniversary card:
