Rey Fenix retained the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship against Laredo Kid, Jack Cartwheel and Takuma on the second week of Héroes Inmortales.
Saturday’s episode was taped October 24 at Gimnasio Olímpico Juan de la Barrera in Mexico City. The first hour of Héroes Inmortales aired live that night, with the remainder split across the October 31 and November 7 broadcasts.
Fenix had originally been scheduled to defend against Mini Vikingo, but Vikingo revealed last week that he requires surgery after injuring his elbow.
Fenix instead issued an open challenge. Laredo Kid initially came out seeking the match, before Cartwheel and Takuma also emerged and the three began fighting. Fenix then agreed to defend against all of them.
The champion eventually pinned Takuma at the close of the broadcast after hitting a muscle buster to retain the title.
Wagner Brothers retain
El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. & Galeno retained the AAA World Tag Team Championship against Histeria & Taurus.
Galeno pinned Histeria following a frog splash after the champions combined on a series of attacks late in the match.
Pagano & El Carnicero continue attack on Psycho Circus
Pagano & El Carnicero defeated Dave The Clown & Murder Clown as their issue with Psycho Circus continued.
El Carnicero pinned Dave following a swinging side slam.
The attack continued after the match until Psycho Clown came out with a kendo stick. He initially fought off the pair but was eventually overwhelmed, with Pagano and El Carnicero leaving him laid out.
Earlier in the show, Pagano had given his former partner another opportunity to leave AAA, which Psycho rejected.
The episode ended with Dorian Roldán speaking to an unidentified person on the phone and saying he needed an answer by next week.
