TNA Wrestling has thrown its hat into the Wrestlemania weekend mix.
The promotion will head to Las Vegas, Nevada to present “Unbreakable” on April 17, hitting up the Cox Pavilion for a live event. The card will take place on a Thursday, less than 48 hours before the first night of Wrestlemania 41.
Unbreakable will serve as a second leg to a TNA doubleheader that week. The card will air on the subscription service TNA+ at 10 p.m. ET, just moments after the latest episode of Impact Wrestling finishes on TV.
The Cox Pavilion has a capacity of more than 3,000. It’s currently the home to various sporting events for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
As noted previously on the site by Andrew Thompson, the event sees TNA bring back a more obscure past pay-per-view event for the upcoming show. Only two “Unbreakable” lineups have taken place in the past, once in 2019 and first back in 2005.
TNA didn’t host an event during last year’s Wrestlemania weekend in Philadelphia. They had a presence during the weekend two years back in Los Angeles, partnering with NJPW to present a show from the Globe Theatre.
TNA is the latest addition to a growing festival of wrestling which will soon take over Las Vegas. GCW’s annual “The Collective” lineup was revealed to include 11 events from Thursday to Saturday, featuring collaborations with DDT, TJPW, PROGRESS, and DEFY. It was announced last month that West Coast Pro, DPW and Prestige will also host events during the weekend.
Tickets for Unbreakable are expected to go on sale later this week.
