It looks like Homicide’s last ring-walk is just a few weeks away.

Outlaw Wrestling announced Monday that the ROH and TNA vet will make his final in-ring appearance in his hometown of Brooklyn, New York on March 20

“End of an Era. Witness the last match of wrestling icon Homicide,” a poster for the upcoming event says.

Homicide, 47, has long been a well-known wrestler from the U.S. independent scene for many decades now.

First beginning his career in the mid-90s, he worked local promotions like Jersey All Pro Wrestling and Long Island Wrestling Federation when first getting his start.

By the early 2000s, bigger opportunities started to open up for Homicide, putting him on a bigger stage and eventually on national TV. In 2002, he went on his first tours with Japanese promotion BJW and also started to become a frequent name in U.S. indie ROH.

Homicide remained in ROH for years, briefly holding the promotion’s world title from 2006 to 2007 and feuding with names like Jay Lethal and Colt Cabana. Around this time, Homicide also started to receive bookings from TNA, where he formed Latin American Exchange alongside Hernandez.

While Homicide’s appearances in both TNA and ROH became less frequent by the beginning of the 2010s, he would make return appearances to both promotions over the next decade or so.

Homicide has remained an active wrestler on the indies in recent years, making appearances in GCW, DEFY, PROGRESS, and many other notable spots around the globe.

Homicide currently holds the Outlaw Wrestling Championship, a belt he just crossed the one-year mark carrying. It’s unknown who he will face on March 20.
