Highlights and notes from the call.
Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California is playing host to the 2025 installment of AEW’s Revolution pay-per-view on March 9th.
Going into the event, Tony Khan hosted his pre-event media call and below are highlights and notes of Khan’s responses to the questions presented to him:
- Khan said Max will still be a home for AEW pay-per-views and he’s looking forward to when people can buy pay-per-views on that service.
- He made a promise to himself on New Year’s Eve 2020 that he would present great television shows and not shy away from turning down people’s creative ideas. The majority of what’s currently being presented on television is by him. Khan added that years ago, he realized that’s the route he should be taking. There’s been times when he’s been too collaborative. He enjoys that, but a part of that process is telling people ‘no.’
- He was asked about the Face of the Revolution Ladder match not being on the Revolution card. Khan said it’s about putting the right people in the right situations at the right time. He’s happy with the TNT Title picture.
- Khan addressed rumors that he does not host production meetings. He said some of what he’s read is completely untrue. He meets with several working groups and individuals multiple times on show days.
- When asked about recent talent exits from AEW, he said it’s a case by case basis. It felt like the right thing for the company.
POST Wrestling is going to be reviewing Revolution. There will be audio/video and written coverage.
