
The go-home edition of Dynamite before this weekend’s pay-per-view saw the show fall to a six-week low in its viewership.
The April 2 episode from Peoria averaged 593,000 viewers and 215,000 viewers (0.16) in the 18-49 demographic on TBS and breaks a five-week streak of weekly audience growth. This does not include streaming data on Max.
The 10% drop in overall viewership was Dynamite’s lowest mark since February 19, while the 18-49 demographic fell by 7% to its lowest since March 5.
Adults 18-34 fell by 10% this week, averaging 65,000 viewers, due to a decrease among males, while women had a small uptick from last week in the demo.
Adults 35-49 were down by 6%, averaging 150,000 viewers.
Dynamite ranked fifth among prime time cable programming, which was led by the New York Knicks vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers and Fox News. The late game between the Detroit Pistons and Oklahoma City Thunder topped all cable programming, airing outside of the prime-time window.
Wrestlenomics reports that the peak quarter was the opening fifteen minutes featuring the Tornado Mixed Tag Match with 768,000 viewers and 0.22 in the 18-49 demographic. The low point was the six-minute overrun segment featuring the beatdown of Swerve Strickland by Death Riders, falling to 461,000 viewers and 0.14 in the demo.
