Takeshita heading back to DDT.
On May 17th, DDT Pro-Wrestling is presenting their Dramatic Dreams event in Osaka, Japan. The promotion announced that Konosuke Takeshita is scheduled to be in action.
Takeshita is under contract to DDT, AEW and New Japan Pro-Wrestling. He competed at NJPW Sakura Genesis and successfully defended the NEVER Openweight Championship against Ryohei Oiwa. Takeshita is the record-holder for the most consecutive successful defenses of the NEVER belt with five. Takeshita is going to be defending his title on April 11th at NJPW Windy City Riot against Hiroshi Tanahashi.
He’ll be in action against Brody King in an Owen Hart Foundation tournament match. The winner is going to meet Will Ospreay in the next round.
The May date that Takeshita is returning to DDT for is a week prior to AEW Double or Nothing.
