NJPW’s Yuji Nagata to be featured in movie ‘Ura Shain – Spy Yarasete Morotemasu’

Nagata lands a film role.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Yuji Nagata landed a movie role as he is going to be featured in a film titled ‘Ura Shain – Spy Yarasete Morotemasu.’

Nagata is playing the role of a quasi-criminal. The movie is starring the members of the J-pop group WEST and it releases May 2nd.

Below is the synopsis:

This slapstick action comedy movie, starring the members of WEST, follows office workers who handle problems secretly that can’t be solved publicly. The story develops when they accept a mission to demolish a shuttered shopping district to build a commercial complex. The plot features rival secret employees from another company with the same mission, a major landowner targeted by both companies, a passionate man trying to revive the failing shopping district, and a mysterious man with a hidden agenda.

Nagata last wrestled as a part of the New Japan Cup tour in March. He challenged Hirooki Goto for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.
