Roman Reigns recently discussed his contractual status with the WWE and how much longer he intends to wrestle.

In a recently published profile in Vanity Fair, Reigns noted that his current contract is scheduled to expire after Wrestlemania 42, which is set for April 11 and 12 in 2026.

Whether or not the former undisputed WWE Champion re-signs with the promotion, it’s clear that he doesn’t intend to be an in-ring performer for too much longer.

“After I finish the contract that I’m in, we probably got another year or two max,” Reigns said in the Vanity Fair interview, referring to his wrestling career. “Then it’s time to take on a less physical form of entertainment.”

Reigns, who is 40, has wrestled for more than a decade and a half.

It was noted that Reigns has already dipped his toes into on-screen roles, appearing in the 2019 Fast & Furious film “Hobbs & Shaw,” and also performing in “The Pickup,” an Amazon MGM Studios film which started taping in 2024.

Reigns remains one of the most important figures in WWE’s programming. He’s currently scheduled to headline the first night of Wrestlemania 41 this weekend, facing off against CM Punk and Seth Rollins in a triple threat bout.
