IYO SKY has retained the Women’s World Championship in a crowd-pleasing opening match at WrestleMania Sunday.

In the triple-threat match, SKY defeated Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair to keep her title. She pinned Belair for the win.

The three got off to a fast, athletic start. The crowd response was notable, and built throughout the match.

In the closing sequence, Ripley and Belair escaped each other’s finishing moves before Belair managed to hit the KOD on Ripley. As she seemed set for the win, SKY hit Belair with the Over The Moonsault to score the pinfall.
