WWE’s next reality TV series will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the promotion’s creative team throughout the process of crafting 2025’s top storylines.
The first trailer for “WWE: Unreal,” a 10-part documentary landing on Netflix this summer, was released Monday. Here’s a look at what the show will be like in a quick 40-second trailer:
The Netflix original, as described by WWE’s own Paul Levesque, will “Lift the curtain” and provide a look at the “Calculated, coordinated production” that is WWE.
Clips in the preview show WWE writers meetings, glimpses at practice sessions with wrestlers before shows, and shots of the staff in Gorilla Position (the green room) as events take place.
The trailer shows that the documentary will feature clips from early 2025, including the Royal Rumble and early episodes of Raw on Netflix.
The show, which will total a run-time of just over eight hours, will be made in collaboration with Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, who also produce the Stephanie McMahon ESPN+ series, “Stephanie’s Places.” NFL Films and Skydance Sports are also credited for the show, alongside WWE.
An official release date hasn’t been announced yet, but it can be expected sometime in the coming months.
