Ospreay speaks about his appreciation for the heavyweight style of wrestling.
Sitting down with Highspots for a Sign-it-Live session was Will Ospreay. As the signing moved along, it was mentioned that Will Ospreay never had a match against Jacob Fatu.
Ospreay said that would be great and he loves Fatu. He then went on to speak about his appreciation for the heavyweight style of wrestling.
It would be great (Ospreay responded when it was mentioned that a match between him & Jacob Fatu would be great). I love that guy.
I just like heavyweight-style wrestling. It’s just something I never really fully appreciated until I started working the New Japan heavyweight-style, and then I just fell in love with it. (Kazuchika) Okada versus (Naomichi) Marufuji is like one of my favorite matches but then if you got, like, your heavy hitters like Shingo (Takagi) versus (Hirooki) Goto any day of the week would be great. (Tomohiro) Ishii and (Katsuyori) Shibata would be real good.
Fatu is the reigning WWE United States Champion and his first title defense is taking place at Backlash. He’ll be putting the title on the line in a Fatal 4-Way against Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest and L.A. Knight.
