The final four are set for this year’s Champion Carnival tournament.

All Japan Pro Wrestling’s annual event comes down to this Sunday’s show in Tokyo after the last set of round robin matches.

Going into this past weekend’s shows, the A Block matches were complete with Hideki Suzuki and Kento Miyahara clinching the top two spots to advance to the semi-finals.

Multiple scenarios were available in the B Block, given the parity and majority of the field still alive.

Saturday’s card on Sapporo drew 512 fans and featured Yuma Aoyagi defeating Yuma Anzai, Ren Ayabe over Madoka Kikuta, Aigle Blanc over Ryuki Honda, and Rei Saito beating Hokuto Omori. This led to a six-way tie involving Aoyagi, Ayabe, Saito, Kikuta, Anzai, and Honda going into the final day of round robin matches on Sunday.

The next day saw 625 in attendance, and it came down to the final two matches.

Earlier, Mike D Vecchio and Hokuto Omori played spoilers for Ren Ayabe and Yuma Anzai to remove them from contention.

Ryuki Honda defeated Madoka Kikuta to move up to ten points, and the card concluded with Rei Saito beating Yuma Anzai to also reach ten points and clinch.

The format will see the A Block winner face the second place finisher in the B Block, and vice versa, so that means Hideki Suzuki faces Rei Saito, Ryuki Honda takes on Kento Miyahara, and the two winners meet later in the evening at Ota Ward Gymnasium.

Miyahara is going for his third Champion Carnival win after previous victories in 2019 and 2023, while the other three have never won.
