In the main event, Takahashi grabbed two points against Clark Connors in a twenty-minute match, ending with the Time Bomb II. The win was Takahashi’s second of the tournament and places the former champion in a five-way tie.
The A Block is sequestered with Kosei Fujita, Dragon Dia, Robbie X, Master Wato, and KUSHIDA tied with six points. The next run features Takahashi, Francesco Akira, Clark Connors, Ninja Mack, and Yoshinobu Kanemaru at four points apiece.
Nick Wayne stands on top of the B Block after beating Ryusuke Taguchi with Wayne’s World on Sunday and giving the ROH World Television champion a record of 4-1, with his only blemish coming against Kevin Knight.
IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion El Desperado picked up a win against SHO with the Pinche Loco and placing him in a tie with Ryusuke Taguchi and Titan at six points underneath Wayne.
After twenty matches in two nights, the Best of the Super Juniors returns on Tuesday with a five-match show in Gunma headlined by Master Wato vs. Robbie X. The show will include Dragon Dia vs. Francesco Akira, KUSHIDA vs. Clark Connors, Kosei Fujita vs. Yoshinobu Kanemaru, and Hiromu Takahashi vs. Ninja Mack.
