Zoey Stark releases first statement since injury: ‘The comeback is greater than the setback’

Zoey Stark has released an encouraging statement just days after her scary injury on Monday Night Raw.

Stark suffered a concerning injury earlier this week during a Money in the Bank qualifying match, causing her to exit the triple threat bout against Rhea Ripley and Kairi Sane early.

After coming off the top with what looked like an attempt to score with a springboard missile dropkick, Stark landed awkwardly, visibly tweaking her knee in the process. Stark was shrieking in pain following the moment and had to be carried backstage by a WWE staffer.

While the moment was hard to watch, a recent post from Stark confirmed that she remains in good spirits days after the incident.

“Wow the love and support means more than you’ll ever know,” she wrote on social media site X on Wednesday evening. “What hurts more than my knee is knowing I won’t be able to perform for all of you for a while. I LOVE what I do and I’m blessed to do this. As the saying goes, the comeback is greater than the setback. Love you guys #StarkMarks”

While we know that Stark suffered a knee injury, more specifics of the setback, including how long she may be on the shelf, remain unknown.

An update from Fightful Select on Thursday noted that no details about an official diagnosis have been disclosed thus far, although the promotion is planning for the event of her being unavailable for the rest of 2025.
