Rough justice was served to the Death Riders and the Young Bucks in an insane Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing.
This babyfaces came out first, with Kenny Omega, Swerve Strickland, Katsuyori Shibata, Powerhouse Hobbs & Willow Nightingale making their way into the ring.
Samoa Joe was conspicuous by his absence at this point.
Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli and Marina Shafir of the Death Riders then entered the arena from either side.
At this point, the Young Bucks were introduced as “founding fathers” of AEW, wearing 18th-century outfits and entering to the sound of pipes and drums.
Anarchy was the operative word as the music continued and the feed went to a four-way split screen as everyone brawled. At this point, Joe entered the fray.
Absolute. ANARCHY.

Omega then called for a change in the music and ‘I’m So Excited’ by the Pointer Sisters played.
Next on the playlist was ‘Bodies’ by Drowning Pool as the action spilled everywhere.
Among the chaos, Moxley went after Hobbs repeatedly with a fork.

Hobbs recovered enough to spear Moxley through a table in the corner of the ring.
As Strickland and Omega took on the Bucks, Willow Nightingale and Marina Shafir fought outdoors, soon to be joined by Shibata and Yuta.

Shibata wrapped barbed wire around his shin pad and then booted Yuta in the chest.
The looping music was finally stopped indirectly by Castagnoli, who swung Stirckland into the speaker system.
Shortly after this, Willow was chained to a ringpost by her earring.
Moxley and Shafir then double-teamed Shibata in the ring. Nicholas Jackson then his a diving senton from atop a video screen to Hobbs, who was laid on a table.
As the heels seemed to be getting the upper hand, Prince Nana drove Swerve Strickland into the arena on a forklift. He dived off the platform onto the Bucks.
Willow was finally freed from the chain by Nana, and joined in multiple simultaneous submission attempts.
At this point, a staple gun appeared. Among its uses was Shafir delivering a staple into Strickland’s tongue.
Swerve Strickland then stopped a Meltzer Driver attempt on Nightingale before hitting their own.
Hook then made a short appearance to whack Castagnoli with a golf club. Hook then left.
Another unbilled appearance came from Gabe Kidd who went right after Kenny Omega.
This allowed the heels to mount a series of attacks on Kenny Omega, almost getting the win.
Mark Briscoe then joined the action in an attempt to even the score.
The Death Riders were bundled into the ambulance from the earlier stretcher match and locked in.
The Bucks, on their own, were left to the mercy of Omega and Strickland.
Strickland put on a pair of sneakers loaded with thumbtacks. He delivered the Swerve Stomp on Nicholas Jackson for the pin.
