In her first appearance since challenging for the AEW Women’s World Championship, Mina Shirakawa will take on Skye Blue on Saturday night’s episode of Collision.
A singles bout between Blue and Shirakawa is one of four bouts currently announced for Collision, which will air on Saturday but is being taped this evening in El Paso, Texas.
Shirakawa attempted to dethrone world champ Toni Storm last weekend at Double or Nothing, coming up short after nearly 16 minutes of action. She’ll look to bounce back from that defeat on Collision.
The matchup will notably be Blue’s second appearance since making her in-ring return, ending a 10-month absence due to injury. Her first match back came earlier this month, competing against Shirakawa, Storm, and AZM in a title eliminator four-way.
A victory on Saturday’s show for Blue would mark her first win since July 2024.
It was also announced Wednesday that a six-man tag bout between the Don Callis Family’s trio of Konosuke Takeshita, Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero against Paragon’s Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong alongside Tomohiro Ishii will take place on this week’s Collision.
Here’s an updated look at Collision, which also features a pair of matches that will see wrestlers look to book their ticket to an AEW International Championship Four-Way match at Fyter Fest next week.
- Claudio Castagnoli vs. Komander (AEW International Championship Four-Way Qualifier)
- Hechicero vs. Mascara Dorada (AEW International Championship Four-Way Qualifier)
- Skye Blue vs. Mina Shirakawa
- Konosuke Takeshita, Trent Beretta & Rocky Romero vs. Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong & Tomohiro Ishii
