AEW Collision will air later than usual this weekend due to the ongoing NBA playoffs.
The New York Knicks avoided elimination in their Eastern Conference Finals series against the Indiana Pacers on Thursday night with an 111-94 victory, forcing the series to go to a game 6. Tip-off for Saturday’s game is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET, the time when Collision usually airs on TNT.
Collision is expected to take place following this weekend’s playoff game. TNT’s official schedule has the episode listed for 11:30 p.m. ET, although the time is only a projection of when the program might air.
Had the Knicks/Pacers series not needed a game 6, Collision was expected to air in its usual weekly spot. Now that we know for sure that a game 6 is needed to determine the winner, we can confirm that Collision will be moved away from its traditional start time.
Saturday’s episode, which was taped earlier this week in El Paso, Texas, currently has five bouts announced for it. Here’s how the show looks as of Thursday evening:
- Claudio Castagnoli vs. Komander (AEW International Championship Four-Way Qualifier)
- Hechicero vs. Mascara Dorada (AEW International Championship Four-Way Qualifier)
- Skye Blue vs. Mina Shirakawa
- Konosuke Takeshita, Trent Beretta & Rocky Romero vs. Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong & Tomohiro Ishii
- Kazuchika Okada vs. Anthony Bowens (AEW Continental Championship Title Eliminator)
