We start the show by showing tonight’s competitors entering the building, similar to how WWE has been doing lately, including a message from Toni Storm to Mercedes Mone, who will be on commentary during her match tonight.

“Why AEW Sucks Right Now”

Tony Schiavone is in the ring as he brings out Will Ospreay to a big reaction. Schiavone cuts to the footage from last week between Ospreay & Swerve Strickland getting into an argument and a scuffle after Dynamite. Ospreay says he was embarrassed by that, as he’s known Swerve for years, and tells them that Jon Moxley is the enemy, suggesting that if they could only team up to take the belt and then kill each other. Ospreay tells Moxley to piss off if he hates everything about AEW, and says the only reason AEW sucks right now is because Moxley is the world champion. Ospreay says, along with the Death Riders, it could be possible that Swerve is a threat as well, and if he has to be one to stop Swerve, then so be it. He continues that he loves Swerve and would take a bullet for him, but before he would do that, he would take a bullet for AEW and challenges him to a fight for next week on Summer Blockbuster.

Ospreay gets interrupted by the music from CRU asking, ‘Who’s this?’. Action Andretti tries to talk but the crowd drowns him off with ‘Shut the fuck up’ chants. Lio Rush gets on the mic and says he has a point to prove and pent-up anger because he thinks that the worst thing about AEW is Ospreay. Ospreay asks the crowd if they want to see him wrestle tonight, and he challenges Lio Rush later tonight on Collision before reiterating that he’ll see Swerve next week.

We see the same video from Collision, where Mark Briscoe got upset at his 5-year-old son asking if he quit last week and put out the challenge to Jon Moxley to prove to his kids he can beat him.

Jon Moxley (w/ Wheeler Yuta & Marina Shafir) vs. Mark Briscoe

Non-title match here, but commentary brings up how it could have ‘eliminator-like’ implications if Briscoe wins. This is a rematch of their 2023 Continental Classic match. Right away, Jon Moxley bails to the outside and stares down the commentary team, but Mark Briscoe quickly follows him outside and starts brawling with him around the ring. Back inside, Briscoe continues his attack on Moxley, fighting him in the corner before he gets taken down with a big boot. Briscoe fights him off in the corner and snaps him off the ropes to send him outside again, where he hits him with a scissor kick through the ropes. Wheeler Yuta gets in Briscoe’s face, but gets his hand stomped on as a result. Briscoe tries the cannonball on Moxley, but he’s able to dodge it as Briscoe goes crashing on the outside. Marina Shafir gets in the ring and distracts Paul Turner, as Yuta sends Briscoe into the ring post. Moxley keeps attacking Briscoe as his forehead is busted open, going into commercial.

We come back to see the bloody Briscoe using his Redneck Kung Fu on Moxley, sending him back outside where he hits him with a cannonball through the ropes. Back in the ring, they go, trading strikes before Moxley counters a Jay Driller attempt with a lariat. Briscoe reverses a Paradigm Shift with a lariat of his own, before climbing to the top rope, but as he tries the Froggy Bow, Moxley catches him in a body scissors choke. Moxley transitions into an armbreaker, but Briscoe gets his foot on the bottom rope to break it up. As Paul Turner is doing whatever, both Yuta and Marina take turns attacking Briscoe. The crowd chants ‘Fuck you Yuta’, as Turner has to act oblivious to what just happened. Briscoe lands the Jay Driller, but takes a while to make the cover, only getting a two-count, as commentary says this is the first time anyone in AEW has ever kicked out of the Jay Driller. They go back and forth until Moxley hits a Curb Stomp and puts on the Bulldog Choke, but Briscoe fights out of it with a very-close two-count that the crowd isn’t happy about with a ‘Ref, you suck’ chant. Moxley puts the Bulldog Choke back on as Turner calls the match off.

Winner: Jon Moxley by referee stoppage at 14:11

We get a video package for Mistico as they announce he will be returning to AEW next week at Summer Blockbuster.

Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa (w/ Luther) vs. Julia Hart & Skye Blue

Mercedes Mone “joins” the commentary, as she has some guys bring her her own commentary table-for-one with a steak and a glass of wine. As the match starts, Mercedes is preoccupied with her phone, as Taz thinks she’s doing some ‘Tok Tiks’. Ian Riccaboni apologizes that her headset is off, as we don’t hear from her. Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa start the match by double-teaming Skye Blue. Julia Hart tags in and traps Mina on the ropes with a Tarantula, as we keep cutting to Mercedes taking selfies. Storm gets attacked on the outside as Mercedes laughs away and starts recording her. Blue & Hart take down Mina in the ring as we head to break.

We come back, as Hart is on the top rope, as we see Storm knocked out in her corner, with the camera missing the shot from Blue. Storm wakes up and saves Mina from Hart & Blue. Mina fights off Hart with a scary-looking Slingblade before making the tag to Storm. Storm grabs Mina and teases kissing for some reason, but as Hart & Blue try to stop it, they get taken out with double German Suplexes. Storm & Mina start shimmying before hitting hip attacks in the corners. Storm puts the TCM Chicken Wing on Blue as she quickly taps out, to Mercedes’ disgust.

Winners: Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa by submission at 9:49

Mercedes leaves as Storm goes and takes a big bite out of her steak.

We Hurt Bruvs

Lexy Nair is in the back with Will Ospreay as they officially announce him vs. Swerve for next week. MJF interrupts and says he’s here to help Ospreay, telling him to stay out of Swerve & Hangman’s business. MJF says last time he checked, he can’t beat Hangman, so if he wins the world title, Ospreay won’t. MJF says Swerve & Hangman are animals and to let them eat each other. Ospreay says MJF is thinking about himself, while he’s thinking about AEW, and the only reason MJF doesn’t want Hangman to win the title is because he knows he won’t be able to then. As Ospreay walks away, MJF asks how Ospreay’s son Harry is doing. Ospreay goes to grab MJF before the rest of The Hurt Syndicate stop him from doing anything, ending with Bobby Lashley getting into Ospreay’s face.

MJF Disrespects Mexico + The Hurt Syndicate Wants Challengers

After the break, The Hurt Syndicate heads to the ring as the crowd starts chanting for Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin, but boos MJF. MVP brings up how Lashley used to live here, which gets a big reaction from the crowd before saying now that he lives in Texas, what’s his opinion on Denver, as Lashley does his thumb gimmick before eventually putting the thumbs down. MVP starts hyping up Lashley & Benjamin as being the best tag team in the world, and no one from any company can match up with them, before asking where the tag teams are to challenge the champions. MVP says they don’t exist and that there is no one capable of beating them and tells the crowd to show respect to MJF, who takes over the mic. MJF talks about how he wants gold as well and wants back his AEW World Championship, which means that, unfortunately, he’s going to have to start wrestling as he brings up Mexico. MJF says that supposedly, Mexico’s top guy is Mistico and that the best wrestler in the world doesn’t hail from Mexico, but from the only country that’s worth a damn in the United States of America, naming himself. MJF talks about stepping into Arena Mexico and selling it out, and saying that he’s the youngest foreigner ever to do so and the reason he did that is because he’s a mega star and plugs Happy Gilmore 2 coming out July 25th (Sii-note: No mention that it’ll be streaming on Netflix.) MJF says that next week he will watch Mistico’s match, and maybe if he thinks he’s worth enough, he might wrestle him at Grand Slam Mexico.

They get interrupted by Speedball Mike Bailey, Komander & Kevin Knight as MJF calls them white Sho’nuff, Bruce Leroy, and the blue Power Ranger. Komander says they are disrespecting Mistico and himself, and says that everything that comes out of MJF’s mouth is garbage, and he won’t disrespect Lucha Libre. Bailey says they asked for the best, and in front of them now are international killers, which gets MJF to have a belly laugh. Knight calls MJF unseasoned and says they can get it popping with Hurt Syndicate right there tonight. MVP says absolutely not, as they haven’t earned it, and if they want an opportunity, they can impress them by earning it.

Jet Speed (Mike Bailey & Kevin Knight) & Komander vs. La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush, Dralistico & The Beast Mortos)

All six men take it to the outside as we enter the second hour of this four-hour show. Mike Bailey & The Beast Mortos start fighting by the stage, as Excalibur mentions Kevin Knight’s stats in the Best of the Super Juniors tournament he just returned from. Knight & Rush make it back inside before Bailey & Komander join in on the attack. La Faccion Ingobernable takes over next, triple-teaming on Bailey as Aubrey Edwards is screaming at them in Spanish to stop it. LFI all lift Bailey together and toss him to the outside onto his partners as we go to break. (Sii-note: No Alex Abrahantes ringside, as I’m sure Davie Portman is smiling from ear to ear.)

We come back to see Komander in control, but he gets stopped by Dralistico with a Destroyer off the ropes as both men are now laid out. Knight & Rush go at it next with chops and strikes before Rush sends Knight into the corner, teasing the Bull’s Horns, but instead of trying to win the match, he stops short and poses instead. All six men enter now and go at it before the babyfaces all hit dives to the outside on LFI. Jet Speed assists Komander to hit a Destroyer on Mortos, but he kicks out at two. LFI starts attacking Komander with Dralistico hitting a wild-looking springboard Crucifix Bomb, but Knight is there to break up the pin attempt. Komander & Dralistico spill to the outside before Knight & Rush join them. Bailey & Knight start double-teaming on Mortos until Bailey hits the Time Adventure kick on Mortos, as Komander dives off the rope to the outside. Knight hits the UFO on Mortos to pick up the win.

Winners: Jet Speed (Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey) & Komander by pinfall at 14:27

The Hurt Syndicate comes out and says they are impressed with the winners, and because of that, they will face Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin & MJF in a trios match next week. Lashley & Benjamin enter the ring but get taken out before MJF joins in and gets taken out as well. Jet Speed & Komander all then dive onto The Hurt Syndicate on the outside.

Paragon + Daniel Garcia

Alicia Atout is in the back with Paragon & Daniel Garcia as Adam Cole says he’s asked for this time and says he thinks he and Garcia have respect for each other but they together can’t stand The Don Callis Family and proposes the four of them to take on The Don Callis Family later on tonight. Garcia says there are a lot of things on his mind currently, and taking on The Don Callis Family is one of them, and he agrees.

Nick Wayne Returns

Lexy Nair is in the back with The Patriarchy, including a returning Nick Wayne, as Christian Cage says he had a tremendous showing in the Best of the Super Juniors, but he didn’t win the tournament. Christian says it was a grueling schedule and anyone coming out of that should have some time off, but says Wayne won’t, as he will defend his ROH World Television Championship here tonight. Wayne says he did this before he left for Japan, and it’s ‘light work’ for him. Christian says the stakes will be higher tonight as it will be a four-way.

Max Caster vs. Powerhouse Hobbs

Max Caster is in the ring and has his petition to say he’s the best wrestler alive, and asks the referee, Stephon Smith, to sign it. Caster gets the crowd to chant ‘Let’s go Max, you’re the best wrestler alive, ‘ but he says that it was bad, and tonight is the return of the five-minute open challenge as the time gets put on the screen. Out comes Powerhouse Hobbs through the crowd to accept the challenge. Hobbs goes right after Caster, but as Caster tries to jump off the corner, he gets caught right into the spinebuster as Hobbs picks up the quick win.

Winner: Powerhouse Hobbs by pinfall at 48 seconds

AEW International Championship: Kenny Omega (c) vs. Brody King vs. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Mascara Dorada

All four go at it to start with Claudio Castagnoli & Brody King being sent to the outside as Kenny Omega teases diving onto Claudio, as he does what a smart man would do and walks away from him instead of standing there and waiting for the dive. Omega & Mascara Dorada go face-to-face in the ring, but Claudio quickly breaks it up, before he gets taken out by Brody. Omega dives onto Brody, before Dorada hits a tornado onto Brody. All four start fighting against the barricades. Brody tries to attack Claudio against the corner, but Dorada gets in the way just to be put on top of Claudio, as Brody takes them both out. Omega takes out Brody with a snap dragon on the floor before taking out both Brody & Claudio with the Terminator Dive as we go to break.

We return as Omega tries a moonsault off the corner, but Claudio gets his knees up to stop it. All four go at it, as Brody somehow got busted open by his eye during the break. Claudio takes out Brody with a European Uppercut, but he kicks out at two. Omega puts Brody on his shoulders for a One-Winged Angel attempt, but instead, Claudio jumps off the top rope for a Doomsday Uppercut and tries to get the pin, but Omega breaks it up. Claudio heads to the top rope, as Brody joins him, just to get knocked back down. Dorada jumps off the back of Brody and hits Claudio with a top-rope hurricanrana. Dorada reverses a One-Winged Angel attempt with a Poison Rana before Brody takes down Claudio with a lariat for two. Dorada fights off Brody & Claudio before Claudio hits the Giant Swing on the bloody Brody as Dorada breaks it up with a dropkick. Claudio hits the Neutralizer on Brody, but Omega breaks it up. All four continue with some crazy dives from Dorada, but he gets stopped by Omega right into the One-Winged Angel to pick up the pin and the win.

Winner: Kenny Omega by pinfall at 17:37, to retain

As we transition into the Collision portion of Fyter Fest, Kazuchika Okada comes out to confront Kenny Omega as they both raise their titles in front of each other as the crowd chants ‘Holy shit’. Okada & Omega start trading blows as Okada stops it with a body blow. They both dodge each other’s Rainmaker & One-Winged Angel before Okada escapes out of the ring.

Ricochet Scouting

Ricochet is in the back and says there will be a lot of talent competing tonight that he will have his eye on, but he won’t be competing in this crappy town. The entire night, he will be searching for people with the right attributes that he’s looking for to make sure his quest for gold becomes a reality.

Tony Schiavone & Nigel McGuinness take over commentary.

Will Ospreay vs. Lio Rush (w/ Action Andretti)

Lio Rush goes to the outside as soon as the bell rings, and dodges both the Styles Clash and Hidden Blade attempts to go back outside and regroup with Action Andretti. Ospreay follows him but gets taken off the apron and hits an incredibly fast suicide dive from Rush, going into the break.

We return with Rush in control as the crowd chants ‘Lio sucks’. Rush dives off the corner, right into a cutter as Ospreay follows with the Os Cutter for two. Ospreay sends Rush to the outside before diving onto both members of CRU. Ospreay follows with the springboard forearm back inside and a Stormbreaker attempt, but Rush turns it into a DDT and hits a Frog Splash for two. Andretti passes Rush a chain that he wraps around his fist, but Stephon Smith catches him and takes it away. During this, Ospreay hits the Styles Clash to pick up the pin and the win.

Winner: Will Ospreay by pinfall at 9:01

As soon as the match ends, CRU double-team Ospreay and take him out with an assisted neckbreaker. Before they can do any more damage, ‘Hangman’ Adam Page runs out to chase them away, as they escape a Buckshot Lariat attempt. Hangman helps Ospreay up as they fist bump.

Hangman Doesn’t Want Help, But He Gets It

Hangman gets on the mic and says if Ospreay is going to have his back, then he’ll have his. As much as he appreciates it, he makes one thing clear that he is his own man, and he doesn’t need help to win the world championship, not from anyone, Ospreay, and especially one of the worst men to walk this planet, alluding to Swerve Strickland. Hangman makes a promise that he will never need or accept help from Swerve. Hangman continues talking about taking the AEW World Championship and holding it above his head for everyone, as it’s a night for all of them, and All In Texas will be his night. As Hangman turns around, Jon Moxley is standing behind him. Marina Shafir, Wheeler Yuta & Claudio Castagnoli show up and surround the ring as the crowd starts chanting for Swerve. Instead, Ospreay comes back out with chairs. Moxley backs out as Claudio tries to hand him a chair, but he leaves through the crowd instead.

The Don Callis Family Accepts A Challenge & Makes A Challenge

Lexy Nair is in the back with Don Callis, Kyle Fletcher & Konosuke Takeshita. Callis says he accepted the challenge from Adam Cole, and if he thought what almost happened last week with Fletcher was bad, to wait for what happens tonight. Callis then addresses Bandido, costing him a lot of money, and tells him to get The Outrunners, as he has booked a match before bringing in Hechicero.

Atlantis Jr. & Templario vs. FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) (w/ Stokely)

Atlantis Jr. & Cash Wheeler start the match, before Wheeler backs up to his corner for some words from Dax Harwood. Templario & Dax get into it next, as Templario doesn’t take a slap kindly and starts kicking away at Dax. The luchadors fight off FTR, sending them to the outside where they miss sliding dropkicks. FTR takes control as we head into the break.

As we return, Tony Schiavone says that Tony Khan will have a *HUGE* announcement before tonight’s main event. (Sii-note: My money is on a title unification match between Okada & Omega at All In.) Atlantis & Templario land stereo dives to the outside on FTR as Schiavone says he loves the luchador tag team. Dax & Templario go back and forth with multiple pin attempts, but during this, Wheeler tags himself in. FTR tries a Shatter Machine, but Atlantis runs in to break it up. Dax knocks Atlantis off the top rope before Wheeler stops Templario off the apron and gets the pin and the win.

Winners: FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) by pinfall at 13:46

Stokely gets on the mic and says sarcastically, shocker that they won again, and calls FTR the most winningest tag team in the world, and it doesn’t matter what company you are from, as everyone falls to FTR. Dax attempts to say something, but the crowd keeps booing him, so he says they lost their chance as they leave.

We get a video package highlighting Thekla.

Hechicero & Protoshita (Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher) vs. Los Outrunners (Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum) & Bandido

Nigel teaches Schiavone how to pronounce Protoshita as Los Outrunners come out wearing masks this time and announce from ‘Mexico Beach’. Don Callis joins commentary and calls Schiavone the ‘ugly American’ between him and Nigel. Hechicero traps Bandido as Protoshita tries the same on Los Outrunners, but they reverse them. They send the heels to the outside as Bandido tries to dive onto them, but gets caught and hit with a powerbomb from Hechicero. Hechicero hits a dive as the heels take control on the outside as we go to break.

We come back with Turbo Floyd in control, before he walks the ropes and hits an arm drag on Hechicero. Bandido & Hechicero start trading pin attempts before taking each other down with dropkicks. Takeshita & Bandido go at it next, with Takeshita hitting a Blue Thunder Bomb for two. All six start fighting in and out of the ring, as Fletcher dodges a 21 Plex attempt and gets kicked in the face from a moonsault attempt. The heels triple team Bandido in the corner, but he fights back with a hurricanrana in the corner. Takeshita stops the Outrunners’ double elbow attempt as he and Fletcher attack them in the corner,r followed by the Brainbuster & Raging Fire as Fletcher gets the pin and the win.

Winners: Protoshita (Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher) & Hechicero by pinfall at 14:16

Tay Melo Returns

We see highlights from last week’s street fight before we cut to Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford as they are dragging Anna Jay out to the stage. Bayne goes to hit Faith’s Descent, but Ford tells her to hit it off the stage. Before she can, Tay Melo makes her return and stops them. Security comes out to hold Melo and Bayne back from fighting.

Pride of Pro Wrestling Month

Lexy Nair is in the back with Anthony Bowens & Billy Gunn as Bowens has two announcements, first being that it’s the Pride of Pro Wrestling Month before challenging Kyle Fletcher to a match for next week on Summer Blockbuster.

ROH World Television Championship: Nick Wayne (c) (w/ Christian Cage & Mother Wayne) vs. Sammy Guevara vs. Lee Johnson (w/ Blake Christian) vs. AR Fox

Ricochet comes out to join the commentary for this match as Schiavone mentions Kip Sabian having something in store for Nick Wayne as well. The crowd chants for AR Fox as he and Sammy Guevara go at it, just for Wayne to break it up. Fox hits a dive right in front of Ricochet as Guevara starts chopping away at Wayne before stopping him with a dropkick. Guevara hits a pair of dives before hitting a cutter on Fox for two. Guevara teases hitting the 630 Splash, but Blake Christian gets on the apron to stop him before Lee Johnson dives onto Guevara on the outside. Fox takes control, but Blake leaps off the ring steps and takes him out as we go to break.

As we return, Ricochet says how everybody in this match is trying to impress him. Fox & Johnson go at it, before Wayne stops it with a Dragon Suplex on Johnson. Fox & Wayne start going at it next as Schiavone brings up their hate for each other. Fox is the only man left standing as the crowd is still heavily behind him, as he hits a Swan dive to Wayne & Johnson on the outside. Wayne hits the Prodigy Plex on Fox to pick up the win and retain his title.

Winner: Nick Wayne by pinfall at 11:07, to retain

Thekla vs. Lady Frost

Thekla goes right after Lady Frost, hitting her with a kick to the head before putting on a submission while pulling on Frost’s mouth as Paul Turner breaks it up. Nigel tells Turner to be careful because of what Thekla did in Stardom to get herself fired. Thekla starts attacking Frost against the ropes, but Frost fights her off with punches before getting knocked down with a forearm shot. Thekla starts doing the spider walk before hitting a spear and putting on her Death Trap submission, making Frost quickly tap out.

Winner: Thekla by submission at 2:30

Thekla continues attacking Frost before Queen Aminata runs out to chase Thekla away.

When we come back from break, we see Queen Aminata in the back, who says every time someone new comes to AEW, they are trying to make a name for themselves. Aminata tells Thekla that in Africa, they stomp spiders and challenges Thekla to a match for next week.

Winner Takes All

Schiavone gets on the mic to announce that for All In Texas, it will be Kazuchika Okada vs. Kenny Omega in a ‘winner takes all’ match, and next week they will have the contract signing.

The Don Callis Family (Josh Alexander, Lance Archer, Trent Beretta & Rocky Romero) vs. Daniel Garcia & Paragon (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong)

Don Callis & Matt Menard both join the commentary team and start bickering right away, as Callis complains about Menard’s accent. Rocky Romero & Roderick Strong start the match, as Menard says he hasn’t talked to Daniel Garcia yet about the offer Callis made to him last week. Garcia enters and fights off The Don Callis Family, by sending them into the corner where he starts punching away at them all until Lance Archer stops it by chokeslamming Garcia off as we head to break.

When we come back, Adam Cole is in contract, hitting a backstabber on Josh Alexander for a two-count. Roderick Strong attacks Rocky Romero against the apron, before Garcia and Trent Beretta get involved as Kyle O’Reilly takes them out with a dropkick, followed by a dive from Archer off the apron. We are 4-plus hours now going into an overrun, as all eight men are going at it. As they promote next week’s lineup, Nigel promises a ‘video package’ for Okada and Omega. Beretta stops a Panama Sunrise attempt before Cole stops Romero off the ropes with a superkick, followed by The Boom to pick up the pin and the win.

Winners: Paragon (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong) & Daniel Garcia by pinfall at 11:20

Garcia stares at the TNT Championship before raising Cole’s hand. Kyle Fletcher & Konosuke Takeshita make their way out to help their stablemates as the show comes to an end.
