Dynamite & Collision viewership for AEW Fyter Fest

The Dynamite portion of AEW Fyter Fest ranked third among cable programming in the core demo on Wednesday.

TBA and AEW experimented with a four-hour live program on Wednesday from Denver, Colorado, with Dynamite and Collision airing back-to-back on the network.

The Dynamite portion from 8-10:06 p.m. ET averaged 655,000 viewers and 247,000 viewers (0,18) in the 18-49 demographic.

Dynamite’s viewership increased by three percent, and the 18-49 audience increased by sixteen percent over last week. The 18-49 audience was Dynamite’s largest since March 19.

Adults 18-34 grew by seventeen percent to its highest mark since the Spring BreakThru episode on April 16.

The Collision portion from 10:06-Midnight ET averaged 380,000 viewers and 136,000 viewers (0.10), so there was a significant drop off for the final two hours.

Last Saturday’s episode of Collision was enhanced by the enormous lead-in from the NBA, so throwing that episode out, the Thursday, May 22 episode of Collision averaged 353,000 viewers and 108,000 (0.08) in the 18-49 demographic. The last Saturday episode from May 16 averaged 398,000 viewers and 109,000 (0.08).

The show aired against Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers. The game averaged 2,086,000 viewers and 0.64 in the 18-49 demographic on TNT and was simulcast on truTV with 363,000 viewers and 0.10 in the demo.

In the prime-time cable rankings, Dynamite was third behind the NHL and the College Softball World Series. Collision fell outside of prime time but would have been tied for tenth.

TBS will run another four-hour block of AEW programming next Wednesday with ‘Summer Blockbuster’ from Portland, Oregon, and will air against Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
