It’ll be a busy week on NXT next Tuesday, with four matches already set to go down at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Among the new matchups is an NXT Tag Team Championships match, with the duo of Hank Walker and Tank Ledger putting their belts on the line against The Culling’s Shawn Spears and Niko Vance.
After suffering an attack recently that they believe was at the hands of Spears and Vance, Hank and Tank wanted to get their hands on the duo.
NXT General Manager Ava made the call that the right way to handle things would be with a title match, the third one for the champs since first claiming the titles back in April.
Also on Tuesday, Ricky Saints will try to earn a shot against Ethan Page by overcoming EVOLVE’s Vanity Project trio in a three-on-one gauntlet match. Saints will not only get a title shot against Saints if successful, but will get to choose a stipulation for their bout upcoming bout.
In a preview of TNA’s Slammiversary event, Mike Santana and Joe Hendry will team up to face The High Ryze’s Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont. Just weeks before Santana and Hendry meet Trick Williams in a three-way for the TNA world title, can they co-exist in tag action?
And last, it was confirmed Tuesday that Tavion Heights will face Charlie Dempsey, trying to fight his way out of the No Quarter Catch Crew. After losing a match to Je’Von Evans recently, this is a second (and last) chance for Heights to fight his way out of the group, like Myles Borne did previously.
Here’s a quick rundown of everything we know for next week’s show thus far:
- Hank & Tank vs. Shawn Spears & Niko Vance (NXT Tag Team Championships)
- The Vanity Project vs. Ricky Saints (Three-on-One Gauntlet)
- Mike Santana & Joe Hendry vs. Tyriek Igwe & Tyson Dupont
- Charlie Dempsey vs. Tavion Heights (If Tavion Wins, He Can Leave NQCC)
