Adam Copeland returns to prevent attack on Christian Cage after Tag Title match loss

Adam Copeland made his return to AEW at All In: Texas.

He emerged after Nick Wayne and the other members of The Patriarchy turned on Christian Cage.

It all went down after the Hurt Syndicate retained the AEW Tag Team Titles. After Bobby Lashley pinned Cage for the win, Nick Wayne, Mother Wayne and Kip Sabian had Christian set up for a ConChairTo. FTR also were involved.

Cope emerged with ‘Spike’, his wooded stick filled with nails. After clearing house, he told Christian to “go find yourself.”

The match began with frequent tags in and out by all three teams until JetSpeed and The Patriarchy took on a prolonged period of the match, leaving Lashley and Benjamin stuck in their corner.

This would not last, and when The Hurt Syndicate tagged in, they caused chaos, not least when Benjamin German suplexed Bailey over the top rope and onto the other competitors.

Big nearfalls came as the match continued, with interference and distraction aplenty.

Christian Cage looked to have the match won with a pin on Kevin Knight, but the referee was distracted by MVP.

The finish of the match came with a spear by Lashley on Christian Cage for the pin.
