Ex-WWE talent Mara Sadè is the latest addition to the Knockouts division.
Sadè, who formerly went by Jakara Jackson while on the NXT roster, has officially inked a deal to join TNA, per a press release issued Thursday night.
Sadè’s signing with the promotion was confirmed right after she appeared on TNA iMPACT!, teaming alongside The IInspiraton to overcome The Elegance Brand in six-woman tag action.
Sadè is best known for her run as an NXT talent, teaming alongside Lash Legend as part of Meta-Four, a faction which also included Oro Mensah and Noam Dar. After getting released from the WWE roster in May, Sadè stated her intention to continue wrestling.
Her first post-WWE appearance came in late June at a 4th Rope event in France. She has since wrestled a few other times on the U.S. indies as well.
Thursday was not a promotional debut for Sadè, as she appeared on TNA programming a handful of times while an NXT wrestler. She most notably wrestled at TNA Rebellion in April, losing a four-way bout for the Knockouts World Tag Team Championships.
