AEW Collision rebounds with largest viewership since Aug. 9

One week after its all-time low viewership in its regular slot, AEW Collision hit a four-week high.

The September 6 live edition of Collision from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia averaged 300,000 viewers and 97,000 viewers (0.07) in the 18-49 demographic on TNT, excluding streaming viewership on HBO Max.

The audience increased by 54% from last week’s figure of 195,000 viewers – the lowest in the show’s history, excluding pre-emptions.

In the 18-49 demo, the audience jumped by 80% from last week’s 0.04 rating, also an all-time low in the normal Saturday time slot.

It was the show’s best figures since August 9.

Within the core demo, females doubled with 40,000 viewers this week, while males grew by 68% and averaged 57,000 viewers.

Adults 18-34 averaged 28,000 viewers, and adults 35-49 posted an average of 69,000 viewers.

Women 18-49, 18-34, and 35-49 all doubled their viewership from the August 30 episode.

The live episode included Konosuke Takeshita taking on Mark Briscoe in the main event, and a rematch between Jon Moxley to Daniel Garcia in the opener.

Programming Insider has not posted its data yet to reflect the sports competition that Collision aired against and its placement among cable programs. |
