For the first time ever, the TNA World Championship will be represented on a Maple Leaf Pro card next week.
Incumbent champ Mike Santana will appear at MLP’s Reena Rumble card on Monday, at the Newage Experience Center in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Santana will go one-on-one against Ontario’s own Sheldon Jean, the promotion announced this week. The bout was made after Santana accepted an open challenge from TNA alum Jean via social media.

It was just earlier this month that Santana earned TNA’s world title, overcoming Trick Williams in the main event of Bound for Glory. He’ll now head up to Canada in hopes of keeping his momentum going.
Jean has made frequent appearances for Scott D’Amore’s Maple Leaf Pro since its 2024 launch, with the upcoming matchup being his ninth time wrestling for them this year alone. Past appearances included a singles bout against NOAH’s Kaito Kiyomiya and participation in a 20-man gauntlet match at Northern Rising in May.
Monday’s card will also feature appearances from Carlito, Matt Hardy, NWA’s Aron Stevens, and Rhino.
The event is a fundraiser for the Reena Foundation, an Ontario-based nonprofit which provides “housing, programs and employment services for individuals with Autism and other developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and other diverse health needs.”
