Former TNA talent Dani Luna provided an update on Saturday afternoon, explaining why she has been absent from independent events surrounding Wrestlemania this weekend in Las Vegas.
The up-and-coming English star revealed in a social media post that while she had plans to work Wrestlemania weekend, she had to cancel everything after the sudden passing of her father recently.
As I landed on my layover on my way to Vegas this past week, I received a call that my dad had unexpectedly passed away.
I obviously turned straight around and flew home to be with my family.

Thank you to [West Coast Pro] and all the other promotions I was meant to be surprise appearing on for the understanding and support at the most horrible time.
Orphaned in my 20’s isn’t something you’d imagine really happens, and sometimes I don’t feel like my family was dealt a fair hand. But no matter what, we persevere, for them.
See you all soon
Luna was expected to appear in a dream match at West Coast Pro’s event against rising Joshi star Senka Akatsuki. It was announced later that Akatsuki’s replacement opponent would be Chris Hero, making his in-ring return after two years away.
27-year-old Luna was just weeks removed from the end of her TNA deal, parting ways with the brand after over three years.
