In the early hours of Sunday morning, Shotzi Blackheart overcame nearly 100 other competitors to win GCW’s annual “Clusterf***.”

The Wrestlemania weekend tradition, which sees a long list of wrestlers enter one of the lengthiest matches of the year, included 89 different competitors on Sunday night in Las Vegas, Nevada, per our count.

Entering throughout the bout in a Rumble style, the competitors were eliminated via pinfall, submission, being thrown over the top rope and to the floor, or leaving the building.

Despite entering ninth in the bout, Shotzi outlasted everybody else in the nearly 2.5-hour contest. She took out finalist Slade to end the bout, dodging a chairshot from the deathmatch wrestler, sending him over the top rope and to the floor.

The match was full of surprise appearances, including cameos from D-Lo Brown, Heath Slater, three inflatable dinosaurs, and others. Comedy acts included Sleepy Ed, CPA, 25 Cent, and Jimmy Lloyd battling with a doppleganger of his.

Alex Aberhantes was a recurring character throughout the night, representing numerous wrestlers whom he each dubbed as the “present and future” of the industry. After representing Sam Holloway and Brick Savage, Aberhantes cornered The Invisible Man, who was in action just over 24 hours after retiring The Sandman.

The Invisible Man went on a long run of eliminations only to be stopped by Joey Janela, who put him away with an “I’m Sorry, I Love You” superkick.

A reporter battle occurred at the 45-minute mark of the match, as Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp and F4WOnline’s Bryan Alvarez both entered the bout. Alvarez eliminated Sapp with a superkick, but then was also taken out of the contest seconds later by KJ Orso.

Performance of High School Musical’s “We’re all in this together” emerged early in the match from Man Like DeReiss, B3 (B3CCA, Aaron Ortiz & Jacob Crane), The Backslide Girlz (Kingsley & Shay Kassidy) and Mariachi Montana (Juli & Ro Montana), all wrestlers who have music associated with their act. However, this sing-along was cut off by KJ Orso.

Matt Tremont reclaimed the GCW Ultraviolent Championship in the opening contest of the night, avenging his January loss to Otis Cogar with a bloody 16-minute cage match. While Cogar’s VNDL48 teammates hit the ring to try and take out Tremont, he was able to tape them to a corner of the ring to keep it a one-on-one match. In the end, it was a top-rope frogsplash through a bundle of light tubes onto Cogar which earned Tremont the pinfall win.
