NJPW Best of the Super Juniors action continued on Wednesday, with another 10 matches inside Tokyo’s Korakuen Hall.

The A Block is currently led by CMLL’s Titan, who has yet to lose through four appearances in this year’s tournament. He overcame Valiente Jr. in a seven-minute contest today, overcoming the fellow Luchador.

Valiente Jr.’s status was in doubt heading into Wednesday’s card, as an apparent injury caused his match against Ryusuke Taguchi over the weekend to end in just 49 seconds. However, it appears he’s back in the tournament.

The biggest A Block headline came from the main event, where Robbie X took down defending BOSJ winner Kosei Fujita. The 16-minute headliner saw Robbie X close the show with his X-Express finisher, handing Fujita his second loss of the tournament thus far.

Daiki Nagai is the sole winless competitor in the tournament following a loss to Jun Kasai today.

The biggest B Block match was yet another showdown between former RPG3K teammates SHO and YOH, who have gone one-on-one eight times since their 2021 split.

YOH was able to outsmart SHO and his underhanded tactics to secure a disqualification victory in the match. Convincing referee Marty Asami that SHO had used a wrench as a weapon, he was able to get the match thrown out, securing him two points.

Tomorrow will be a travel day for NJPW, but they’ll return Friday and begin a stretch of three straight nights of action. The run of shows will kick off with a card from Osaka focused on the A Block, with former tournament winners Master Wato and Kosei Fujita facing off in the main event.
