Brie Bella provided outside leverage to help Paige pin Nia Jax and retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

The closing sequence saw Paige tag into the match and attempt a top-rope maneuver. Jax caught the champion, but Paige countered the move into a sunset flip. Bella then pushed her boot against Paige’s backside to provide extra leverage and secure the pinfall victory.

The champions utilized double-team offense early in the match to gain an initial advantage. Bella and Paige hit a double bulldog on Jax and later connected with a synchronized Codebreaker on Legend.

The Irresistible Forces controlled a significant portion of the contest by isolating Paige. Legend trapped her in a full nelson and choked her against the middle rope. Jax also applied a rear chin lock to wear down the champion’s neck.

Just moments before the finish, the challengers nearly won the titles. Jax executed a Samoan drop on Bella, followed by a middle-rope splash from Lash Legend. She then delivered a diving leg drop, but Paige broke up the subsequent pin by shoving Legend into the cover.
