Rhea & Jade & Charlotte & Alexa

Friday Night SmackDown from Barcelona kicked off with Jade Cargill coming down to the ring along with B-Fab and Michin. The three cut a promo on Rhea Ripley ahead of the title match at Clash in Italy. Rhea Ripley interrupted right away and said Jade used other people to make herself look better. Jade retorted that B-Fab and Michin were with her because they wanted a piece of her power, and noted that the women around Rhea didn’t even like her. This brought out Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. Bliss warned Jade that she had beaten better women in WWE. This prompted Nick Aldis to appear and make Jade vs. Alexa a match that would start post-haste.

Alexa Bliss vs. Jade Cargill

The match began, and Jade quickly took control, dominating the smaller Bliss, powerbombing her on the ring barrier as the show went to an ad break. Upon return. Charlotte and Rhea tried to rally Alexa as the beatdown continued. Finally, Bliss started to mount a comeback before Michin got involved behind the referee’s back. The four then brawled to the back as Alexa hit the Bliss DDT and set up for the Twisted Bliss, but got caught with Jade’s knees. Cargill hit a pump kick and Jaded for the win. After the match, a second Jaded was hit on a steel chair, prompting Charlotte and Rhea to run back out to fend Jade off.

Cody Rhodes was interviewed backstage and was immediately interrupted by Sami Zayn, who wanted an apology for last week. Rhodes retorted that Zayn watched him get taken out by Gunther. Zayn said he did it so that Cody could learn a lesson, and Cody said he wanted to teach Sami a lesson after he was done with Gunther tonight.

Nick Aldis was backstage with Danhausen, asking him not to do any experiments this week. The Miz appeared and asked to postpone his match tonight against Axiom since Kit Wilson wasn’t allowed into the country. Meanwhile, in the background, Danhausen moved equipment around, including a container labeled with a skull and crossbones.

The Miz vs. Axiom

Next up, The Miz took on Spain’s own Axiom. The lights went dark for a second in the first minute of the match as Axiom began to use his athletic moveset against the grounded Miz. After a commercial break, Miz spiked Axiom with a DDT for a near fall. Axiom hit a flying crossbody for a two-count, and Miz caught him with a powerbomb after bouncing him off the ropes. Miz went to the top rope, and the lights went dark again, distracting Miz, allowing Axiom to hit a Spanish Fly, followed by the Golden Ratio for the win. Tessitore and Barrett argued afterward over whether ot not it was Danhausen or the heat in Europe.

R-Truth and Damian Priest were backstage, and Truth said he wasn’t cleared. Truth said he set Damian up with a partner for tonight’s match against the MFTs. Royce Keys appeared, and Priest said he wouldn’t team with anyone but Truth. Truth asked if either of them was scared, and they said they were not.

Sami Zayn was backstage, complaining to Candice LeRae, but the camera panned back to reveal Johnny Gargano lying on some steps. Matt Cardona appeared (as a walkie-talkie loudly interrupted their dialogue) and said things were not going well for either of them right now. They started arguing, and Zayn challenged Cardona to a match tonight.

Charlotte was shown helping an injured Alexa backstage when Rhea asked how she was doing. Ripley said she would handle Jade at Clash in Italy, and Charlotte responded that if Rhea didn’t, she would.

Damian Priest & Royce Keys vs. MFT

The next match saw Damian Priest reluctantly team with Royce Keys to take on Talla and Tanga Loa, accompanied by Solo Sikoa. Keys and Priest worked together at the start of the match, showing cohesion as the show went to commercial. After, Keys made a hot tag to Priest as he took out both opponents. Solo Sikoa hit Priest with the Samoan Spike behind the referee’s back, prompting R-Truth to run down and attack Sikoa. Keys stopped Sikoa from hitting Truth with the Samoan Spike, and back in the ring, Talla Tonga hit Priest with the T-Bomb Chokeslam for the win.

The Miz screamed at Nick Aldis backstage for the lights going off during his match, and Aldis said he would check into it. Aldis found Danhausen with his experiments, and Miz stormed in, hitting him with a fire extinguisher.

Chelsea Green approached Tiffany Stratton backstage, and Stratton told her that she wasn’t going to corner her tonight. Green was heartbroken and said she’d see Tiffany after.

Sami Zayn vs. Matt Cardona

Next, Sami Zayn took on Matt Cardona. Cardona controlled the match early on as it appeared Zayn had underestimated his opponent, set up earlier in the night. After an ad break, Cardona hit a double underhook powerbomb on Zayn for a two count as the crowd chanted for both competitors. Zayn blocked a second attempt at Rough Ryder, succeeding on a third attempt in countering a Helluva Kick as Sami got his foot on the rope. Zayn hit an exploder into the corner and finished Cardona off with the Helluva Kick.

Nick Aldis told Gunther backstage to keep his television time with Cody Rhodes “civilized”. Guntehr promised to only attack Cody verbally.

The next segment saw Trick Williams and Lil’ Yachty cut an in-ring promo, announcing that he was declaring himself for the King of the Ring tournament. This brought out Carmelo Hayes, who admitted Williams was king of the microphone and entrance, but was too little to be King of the Ring. Hayes said he would take care of Ricky Saints tonight and then challenge Trick for the United States title. The two got in each other’s faces, which brought out Ricky Saints, who said he was coming for the US title after he was done with Hayes. Williams slapped Saints and left, leaving Hayes and Saints for their match.

Carmelo Hayes vs. Ricky Saints

After another ad break, the match began with no bell ringing on the broadcast. Early in the match, Saints took control by knocking Hayes off the top rope and throwing him into the ringside barricade multiple times. After the commercial, Hayes attempted a frog splash but was caught by Saints’ knees. Hayes countered the Revolution DDT with a DDT of his own, followed by a Springboard forearm. Hayes was thrown into the crowd and came back with a flying clothesline off the barricade, and the two continued fighting on the outside as the referee counted them out. The two continued the fight after the bell, and Hayes hit The First 48.
