BDE vs. Eddie Edwards

TNA Thursday Night Impact kicked off with The System’s Eddie Edwards taking on BDE, who was seeking his first single victory. BDE started out hot, taking down Edwards with a dive to the outside. Edwards quickly recovered, hitting BDE with a Belly to Back Supplex off the top rope for a near fall. 

Alisha Edwards attempted to interfere and nearly got taken out by Eddie by accident. BDE hit the Clip Cutter for another near fall. The other members of The System distracted BDE, allowing Edwards to hit the Boston Knee Party for the win. After the match, The System was ready to pounce on BDE when Fabian Aichner ran down to make the save, but was quickly outnumbered. This brought out Leon Slater as the three faces fought off the heel team. Slater finished them off by hitting the Moment Maker twisting dive over the ringpost onto The System. 

A Righteous vignette aired with them inviting The Hardys into their garden.

AJ Francis Performance

Next up, AJ Francis came out to the ring and talked about kicking KC Navarro and Rich Swann to the curb. Francis then performed a new song titled “Walk,” intended to antagonize Elijah. Elijah then appeared and said that Francis had stolen his guitar strum, but Francis said it was his song and his IP. Francis then served a Cease & Desist letter and announced that Francis now owned the rights to Elijah, Elias, and Ezekiel, as well as Elijah’s entire music catalog. Francis attacked Elijah with the microphone and left. Somehow, Elijah was bleeding profusely from his ear as the segment ended. This was pretty atrocious, even for TNA. 

Indi Hartwell and Santino were warming up backstage when Daria Rae appeared and said she had nothing to do with Hartwell re-signing with TNA. 

Elayna Black cut a backstage promo talking about how she was better than every other woman in TNA, especially Indi Hartwell. She said she was the next TNA Knockouts Champion. 

Arianna Grace & Stacks vs. Indi Hartwell & Santino

Next was a mixed tag match with daughter Arianna Grace teaming with Stacks to take on father Santino with Indi Hartwell. Frankie Kazarian was on commentary for this match, as ordered by Daria Rae. Arianna squared off against Santino to start but Santino refused to face her, leading to Stacks taking control of the match. 

After a commercial break, Hartwell and Grace were taking it to each other, and each tagged in their respective partner, finally allowing Santino to get his hands on Stacks. Santino went for the Cobgra, but Arianna took it away and accidentally hit Stacks with it. Santino produced a second one, allowing Indi to have one as well. They hit a Double Cobra for the win. 

The Elegance Brand was asking Mr. Elegance backstage why he had a Bunny on his head last week. Mr. Elegance had no memory of such a thing, and the lights went out as Allie, Mara Sade, and Rosemary appeared, scaring them off.

Eric Young cut an in-ring promo saying that TNA was sick and it needed to be cleansed. He said he saw through Mike Santana and that he needed the people’s applause. This brought out Santana, who said all he heard was a bitter man who was no longer relevant. The two traded barbs, and Young said he was going to piledrive Santana and take the TNA title. Santana proposed a match between them right then, but Young hit Santana with a low blow and a piledriver. 

Mustafa Ali cut a promo on KC Navarro, facing him for the International title next week. Ali called Navarro’s victory over him last week a fluke, and he would prove it next week. He finished lamenting over whether Tasha Steelz could stick to their plan.

Mr. Elegance vs. Lei Ying Lee

The next match was an Intergender match, with Mr. Elegance squaring off against Knockouts Champion Lei Ying Lee. Xia Brookside was on commentary for this match and said she wasn’t sure why she was there, but was reminded that she earned a title shot against Lee. Lee took early control of the match as The Elegance Brand jumped on the apron, and the referee threw them out. 

Lee caught Mr. Elegance with an Ankle Lock, but Elegance made it to the rope to break the hold. Xia Brookside jumped onto the apron, distracting Lee as she took Brookside out. Mr. Elegance capitalized, hitting Excusez-Moi on Lee for the win. Brookside got on the mic after the match and announced that their title match would be happening at Slammiversary.
