Charlotte Flair made an unexpected appearance at WWE Night of Champions, helping Tiffany Stratton retain the Women’s United States Championship against Jade Cargill.

Stratton pinned Cargill after hitting the Prettiest Moonsault Ever. The finish came moments after Flair appeared at ringside and struck Cargill with the championship belt while the referee was distracted.

The match began with Stratton trying to use her speed against Cargill, scoring an early near fall with a sunset flip. Cargill soon took control, catching Stratton on a dive to the floor and driving her into the apron with a knee.

Cargill continued to overpower Stratton, hitting a sit-out powerbomb and later a spinning slam for near falls. Stratton rallied with a dropkick, a handspring back elbow, and a rolling senton, but Cargill blocked the Prettiest Moonsault Ever by getting her knees up.

The match turned chaotic when B-Fab and Michin came to ringside. B-Fab distracted the referee while Michin pushed Stratton from the top rope, allowing Cargill to hit a chokeslam for a near fall.

Chelsea Green then emerged and attacked B-Fab and Michin. Green grabbed the Women’s United States Championship, drawing Cargill’s attention.

Cargill pulled Green into the ring, and the referee became occupied with removing Green from the situation. Cargill then went for the title belt, but Flair appeared and took it first.

Flair hit Cargill with the belt, allowing Stratton to follow with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the pinfall victory.
