Yuki Kamifuku’s professional wrestling career is nearing its end.
33-year-old Kamifuku announced on Monday afternoon that she will officially retire from wrestling at the end of the year. Her last match will be on December 26 as part of a TJPW card from Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
After some experience in modelling, Kamifuku turned to professional wrestling in 2017. The Kanagawa-born talent made her in-ring debut for TJPW that year, becoming a full-time talent for the growing Joshi brand.
Kamifuku would become a fixture in TJPW over the next decade, working nearly 500 matches for the promotion. Her run included a run with the promotion’s second-biggest singles title, the International Princess Championship, and more recently a tag title run alongside Wakana Uehara.
While Kamifuki primarily was a TJPW talent through her entire career, she also made appearances in promotions like MLW, GCW, DEFY, and DDT.
Before her retirement match in December, Kamifuku will present a self-produced show on November 27, which is also set for Korakuen Hall.
