Another big name has reportedly left the TNA roster.
Two-time TNA World Champion Eric Young has parted ways with the company, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported on Wednesday.
A majority of Young’s career has taken place in TNA. He initially joined the brand in 2004, beginning a run which would last the next 12 years.
Young left TNA by 2016, departing the promotion to join the SAnitY faction in WWE’s NXT program. Upon leaving WWE in 2020, he would re-join TNA shortly thereafter. Apart from an incredibly brief WWE return, which didn’t include any on-screen appearances in late 2022, TNA has been Young’s home for the past few years.
46-year-old Young wrestled on the pre-show for last weekend’s Slammiversary pay-per-view, losing a singles bout to Ricky Sosa.
Young is the second big name to reportedly depart the TNA roster this week. It was reported Tuesday that Mike Santana has finished up with the brand shortly after dropping the world title to Nic Nemeth.
