The first six names in this year’s CMLL Grand Prix were revealed on this week’s edition of CMLL Informa.
The three Mexico represenatatives will be Xelhua, Volador Jr. and Titán, and the three international representatives will be AEW’s PAC, NJPW’s DOUKI and MLW’s Austin Aries.
The CMLL Grand Prix will be on Aug. 7, which is two days after AEW Dynamite Grand Slam Mexico. The event is held in a torneo cibernetico match, a multi-man elimination match against Team Mexico and Team World.
Místico won last year’s men’s Grand Prix after eliminating Speedball Mike Bailey, and Persephone won the women’s Grand Prix after eliminating Thekla.
