TNA World Tag Championship: The Broken Hardys (c) vs. The Great Hands

The Hardys played to the crowd and maintained an early advantage in the match. Tasha Steelz momentarily distracted Matt, but it was enough to keep him in their corner and mock Jeff. Matt slingshot Hotch into the middle turnbuckle and got a hot tag to Jeff. Jeff missed a Whisper in the Wind, and The Great Hands landed a Blockbuster/Samoan Drop combo. Matt broke it up and took out Hotch with a Side Effect. Jeff hit a Twist of Fate on Skylar, and Matt hit one of his own. Jeff won with a Swanton Bomb.

Mustafa Ali and Special Agent Zero confronted The Great Hands after the match. Ali stared at them and called someone on the phone before walking off.

Lei Ying Lee was backstage with Gia Miller and admitted that Slammiversary was painful. She lost her championship and lost someone whom she once called a friend. She said Xia Brookside wanted a championship over a friendship. She understands, and tonight is about a fight. Lei says she will bring everything because the Knockouts Title belongs to a warrior, and she will take it back.

TNA pillars clash

Frankie Kazarian is out for “The King’s Speech” and called out Albany for being boring. He welcomed Moose out. Frankie noted that after his win over Eddie Edwards, Moose had beaten every member of The System. Moose said Slammiversary was one of the most emotional moments of his life. He noted everything he’s done in his TNA career, but at Slammiversary, he shared a moment with his wife and family. Frankie said that he traumatized his family, but Moose cut him off, saying that his family is doing better. He talked about what was next for him. What’s next is the same thing he’s done since he set foot in TNA: Dominate everyone. He said he doesn’t chase others, and everyone who wants some with the face of the franchise can get some.

Frankie acknowledged Moose’s dominance and admitted he’s in the conversation for the face of TNA. Moose said he’s not in the conversation; he is the conversation. Kazarian asked Moose if he was stupid because he calls himself the face of the franchise when he’s in the ring with a king. Moose wondered who the hell crowned Kaz the king. Kaz said the people. Moose said he’s the face of the franchise because, over 10 years, he’s seen people come and go. He’s seen people leave to chase stardom and money. He’s made TNA his home. Frankie called himself a TNA OG, innovator of the X Division, one Grand Slam champion, something Moose hasn’t achieved.

Moose called Frankie one of the most annoying people in the locker room, but acknowledged his status as a pillar of TNA, which he believes he is, too. He noted that he and Frankie haven’t had a singles match in TNA. Frankie told Moose he has no interest in a match. He spoke with someone who agreed that Moose is an idiot, that The System should have taken him out, and that his NFL career is as ugly as the women in Albany. A.J. Francis came out and noted that he also played with Tom Brady. He said Tom agreed that he left the league before he joined because he was scared of him. Moose said he wants to beat someone up and called out Francis. Expressions set up a match for next week.

Elijah spoke in a backstage vignette. He talked about his goal to win the TNA World Title. He wants to take fans who walk with Elijah to the mountaintop. He said he’s carried everyone’s burdens and that they are heading to the Promised Land.

TNA Knockouts TV Title Tournament First Round: Indi Hartwell vs. “Vicious” Vicki Venuto

A promo from each woman played while they made their entrances. Indi was friendly with Vicki at first, but Venuto wasn’t having any of it and tried to go at Indi. Hartwell recovered and hit a bulldog that sent Vicki to the side apron. Vicki lured Indi in and slammed her on the ropes. Vicki had multiple pin opportunities, but Indi continued to kick out and fight through Vicki’s offense. Indi hit a jawbreaker to break up a headlock. She gained momentum with a pair of lariats and a spinebuster for a nearfall. Vicki fought out of a Hurts Donut and landed a cutter for a two-count. Hartwell got a surprise roll-up, and after Vicki kicked out, Hartwell caught Vicki with the Hurts Donut for the win.

On the injury report, the Personal Concierge is out, Lei Ying Lee is cleared for tonight’s match, but is not 100%, Allie is out after sustaining a neck injury in her tournament match, and Nic Nemeth is in the best shape of his life, information given through an insert from Matthew Rehwoldt.

A Fabian Aichner vignette played. He said that watching Arnold Schwarzenegger in “Commando” and other movies made him realize that he wanted to do something special in his life. He said he was watching wrestling during his skiing career. He talked about his motivation to win the X Division Title and the mentality he’ll bring against Cedric Alexander, proving that Fabian Aichner is numero uno.

Leon Slater & Ricky Sosa vs. The System vs. The Righteous

This was a three-team tag team match, with two men allowed in the ring and each team in one corner. Slater and Sosa took it to the heels early, leaving them both standing tall in the ring. They lined up both teams with splashes on the outside to lead into a commercial break. The Righteous took it to Slater during the break and came out of it. The System tagged itself in and continued the damage to Slater. Sosa had to come in after Bear Bronson hit a chokebomb. Brian Myers ate a superkick, and Sosa got the hot tag. He went to work on both teams. Everyone hit their big moves, leaving Bronson and Dutch in the ring. The big men laid in big shots until Bronson baited Dutch to the outside and hit a running shoulder block. Slater leaped over the corner post to take out the big men. Slater dragged Bronson back into the ring, and Sosa won with a running European uppercut.

Santino Marella was watching the match backstage, dancing to Sosa’s music, much to the displeasure of Daria Rae. Ryan Nemeth came up to them and talked about how KC Navarro was going to talk smack about Nic, and he might not be able to handle himself. Daria took Ryan’s side and called out Santino for not defending his family and having matches against them.

TNA Knockouts TV Title Tournament First Round: Jody Threat vs. Gabby Forza

Similar to the other match in the tournament, there were Jody and Gabby promos during their respective entrances. This was Gabby’s TNA debut, and this was Jody’s first TNA match since April. Threat showed off her wild side, eventually knocking Gabby down with a shoulder block. Jody continued to pressure Gabby, but Forza showed off her strength, carrying Jody on her back. Gabby caught Jody and hit an Okla-Gnome-A Stampede, followed up by a Vader Bomb for a two-count. Both women landed stiff shots, but neither went down. Jody tried to set up Pop Shove It, but she set Forze on the middle rope for a double knee strike and then a German suplex. Forza rolled outside, and Threat hit a running dropkick. Forza avoided Threat from the top rope and hit a lariat, followed by a powerslam and a torture rack bomb for a nearfall. Threat countered a Vader Bomb and got Forza up for the Pop Shove It for the win.

Ali was tying his tie backstage, talking to someone who was off-camera. He called for a State of the Order address next week; attendance is mandatory.

KC Navarro came out for a scheduled appearance. He talked about the respect he had for Nic Nemeth, who repaid that with a Danger Zone. He wondered what he had done and told Nic to be a man and tell him to his face what he had done to deserve a Danger Zone. Nic obliged, standing near the entrance. He told KC, whom he kept calling “kid,” that he believed he could have been a future star with more time, but he didn’t have enough time. He said KC doesn’t have it. KC couldn’t believe what Nic said and noted that he worked hard for years to get to TNA, proving that he has it. He pointed out that he beat Ryan, who attacked KC from behind. Nic got in the ring and told KC that he doesn’t deserve to be in his shadow and warned him to stay away from him and his family.

TNA Knockouts Championship (No Disqualification): Xia Brookside (c) vs. Lei Ying Lee

Lee attacked Brookside before the bell rang and talked trash, holding the belt in her face. This was a no DQ match, and Lee attempted to use her fan as a weapon while fans chanted “we want tables.” Lee worked on Brookside’s back and midsection. Brookside went outside for a break, but Lee nailed a suicide dive to head into a commercial break. Brookside used a leather belt to inflict damage on Lee during the break and continued to do so. Lee avoided a double-knee strike and landed a series of strikes. Lee, whose left leg was still compromised, landed punches in the corner. She sent Brookside to the outside with a trapped exploder suplex. The fans still want tables… for reasons. They booed when Lee threw in not tables in the ring. They popped when Lee dragged out a table. Lee slammed Brookside face-first on the table. Brookside fought off the side apron to avoid a table spot. Brookside used the kendo stick on Lee.

The crowd continued their annoying tables chant as Brookside took the Knockouts Title. Brookside knocked the table down, and Lee caught her with a cannonball. Lee came in with multiple chair shots. The crowd won’t stop with the tables chant as Brookside caught Brookside with a jawbreaker, but Lee responded with a boot. Lee piled up the chairs on top of each other, with Brookside on top. Lee missed a top-rope splash, and Brookside landed a belt shot for a nearfall. Both women landed heavy shots, but the crowd wanted tables. Lee punched a chair, and Xia hit Darkside for the win.
