Obsession and Assault
Monday Night Raw from Dallas kicked off with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman walking down to the ring, followed by a group of Police officers. Heyman called Oba Femi a stalker and the biggest dummy he’s ever met in his life, turning down a title shot to come after Lesnar. He continued, saying that Femi was obsessed with Lesnar, but Lesnar was also obsessed with Femi. Heyman announced that he had obtained a restraining order against Oba Femi, so Femi could not come within 100 feet of Lesnar. He revealed he also obtained a restraining order against Lesnar and knew Lesnar would comply because he’s a law-abiding citizen.
This is when Oba Femi interrupted and marched to the ring, immediately violating the supposed restraining order. Femi attacked the police, including throwing one of them out of the ring and directly onto the floor in a painful-looking spot. Femi explained that he threw away his title opportunity because he knew that if he went for the title, Lesnar would have ruined it. Femi said, “No more games, no more low blows,” as the segment ended.

The first part of a video series about the history between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. This first one highlighted The Shield.
Iyo Sky vs. Roxanne Perez
The first match of the night saw Roxanne Perez, accompanied by Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, taking on Iyo Sky. Sky gained control early on until Morgan grabbed Iyo’s leg behind the referee’s back, allowing Perez to take over. After a commercial, Sky began to mount a comeback, but a knee injury prevented her from making an effective cover.

Perez applied a submission on Iyo’s injured knee, but Iyo was about to reverse and apply a Crossface. Sky nailed Iyo with a knee, but Liv and Raquel interfered again. Roxanne nearly got a surprise roll-up, but Iyo reversed it for the win. For some reason, no bell rang. The Judgment Day began an attack on Iyo, but Sol Ruca ran down to make the save. Raquel caught Sol and slammed her into the barricade and the ring post, and Liv and the Judgment Day resumed their beatdown of Iyo, finishing it off with a belt shot.
OH NO 😬

The New Vision
The Vision, complete with new member Maxxine Dupri, was out next. Maxxine went to speak, and Otis and Tozawa appeared, asking if they could talk. Maxxine convinced Logan, Bron, and Austin to leave the ring, and Tozawa asked what she was doing. Maxxine said she still loved them and complained that they didn’t know Austin. Otis got choked up, and Austin Theory laughed, asking if Otis was confessing feelings for Maxxine.

Otis attacked Theory, and The Vision retaliated, with Bron throwing Tozawa over the announce table and Otis fighting off Theory and Brakker. Finally, Maxxine stopped Otis and feigned kissing him, allowing Theory to hit him with a low blow. Maxxine screamed in Otis’ face, and Theory hit Otis with the brass knuckles. To top things off, Theory called Otis a loser and Brakker Otis with the running spear.

A video aired with all of the competitors in the #1 Contenders match for a shot at the Intercontinental Championship claiming they would be the ones to go on to SummerSlam to face Penta for the title.
During a commercial break, Jimmy Uso came out and said he was looking for Solo Sikoa. Royce Keys attacked Jimmy from behind, and Adam Pearce appeared, making the match official and starting immediately (still during the commercial).
Royce Keys vs. Jimmy Uso
This impromptu match was underway as the show returned from break, and Jimmy took control after slamming Keys onto the announce table. After another ad break, Jacob Fatu was seen arriving at the arena and heading straight for the ring. Fatu attacked Keys, resulting in a disqualification. Fatu screamed that he didn’t want to do this as he grabbed a chair and assaulted Keys with it.

Sikoa appeared and demanded that Jacob stop the attack. Solo said he was being stupid when he left his family, and now he understands. He said he’s coming home to the family and put his “one” in the air, and Jimmy and Jacob joined in. Sikoa hit Jimmy with a Samoan Spike and then attacked Jacob.

Royce Keys recovered, and it turned into a two-on-two fight. This brought out LA Knight, who hit Jacob with a chair, which he completely no-sold. A few more chair shots finally chased Jacob away. Knight proposed a match between Jimmy, Jey, and Jacob vs. LA Knight, Royce Keys, and Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam.

Backstage, Paul Heyman applauded The Vision’s in-ring actions, saying he was proud of them all. Heyman said that Maxxine was so magnificent tonight; what the hell did they need him for?
Things are all good in The Vision, right?
According to @HeymanHustle, is @maxxinedupri an asset to the group or a replacement! 😮 pic.twitter.com/k2D9okD7zt

Elsewhere backstage, Adam Pearce informed Oba Femi that he had confirmed that Heyman didn’t actually have a restraining order and that the police officers were fake. Femi said that tells him they’re afraid, and he couldn’t wait for Hell in a Cell.
Bayley & Lyra
Next up was the face-to-face between Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. Lyra had a ragged, crazed look and said that Bayley held her back for a year. She said that Bayley was not a locker room leader; she always drags down everyone she works with, and she’s always been the worst of the Four Horsewomen. Bayley ran through her accomplishments and then revealed she got a match against Lyra at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The two started brawling, and Lyra got the better of it, finishing things off with the Bayley-to-Belly.

A teaser video aired showing Big Cass and Enzo Amore with the date 8/3, which is the Raw after SummerSlam.
#1 Contenders Gauntlet Match
After over 90 minutes of a show that featured no more than 18 minutes of actual wrestling, the #1 Contender’s Gauntlet match for a shot at Penta’s Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam finally began. Things kicked off with Dominik Mysterio and Joe Hendry, with Hendry in control to start off. JD McDonagh provided a distraction at around the five-minute mark, allowing Dominik to hit the 619 and the Frog Splash to eliminate Hendry.

Je’Von Evans was the next competitor who entered the match during a commercial break and was quickly attacked by McDonagh behind the referee’s back. Dominik seemingly had Evans beat when Danhausen appeared and cursed Dominik, but the sparks came out of the wrong ring post. Mysterio sent JD to attack Danhausen, and Je’Von hit the OG Cutter to eliminate Dom.
Dragon Lee was out next, and the show immediately went back to commercial after less than thirty seconds of action.
