Rocket Arena announced the double taping on Monday, posting a graphic with the caption: “Two shows. One night.” A start time of 5:30 p.m. ET is listed for the show.
WWE periodically presents double tapings, allowing wrestlers and staff an extra day off. Just two weeks ago, WWE taped an episode of Smackdown after a live edition of Raw from Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The upcoming double taping allows for some breathing room before WWE heads to Atlanta for Sunday Night’s Main Event during Labor Day weekend.
