Conor McGregor and his bare-knuckle boxing promotion BKFC have landed a deal with FOX’s streaming platform for a new reality TV series.

“World’s Baddest Man,” a forthcoming show which sees bare-knuckle boxers compete in a single-elimination tournament for a cash prize, is coming to FOX Nation in the summer of 2027, it was announced this week.

Descriptions of the show have close similarities to UFC’s popular reality TV brand “The Ultimate Fighter.” Talents will work their way through a bracket on the taped show. In the end, finalists will compete as part of a live broadcast.

McGregor, a co-worker of BKFC, will serve as the show’s host. A press release touts that a huge “eight-figure” prize pool will be distributed as part of the program.

The news comes just days after McGregor had an unsuccessful return to the UFC cage, injuring himself and causing a stoppage defeat after just 69 seconds against Max Holloway. The bout was his first appearance in five years.

McGregor had previously teased an upcoming deal between BKFC and FOX during a June appearance on the Ariel Helwani Show. At the time, however, no details regarding the agreement were unveiled.

FOX Nation currently also airs Real American Freestyle, a freestyle wrestling league which launched just last year. The company has frequently given a spotlight to MMA fighters with a background in wrestling, and is scheduled to showcase Ben Askren’s return to competition this weekend.
