It looks as though Layla Diggs’ recent injury has something to do with her left arm.
It was announced earlier this week that up-and-coming WWE developmental talent Layla Diggs was pulled from this week’s episode of NXT due to injury. She was scheduled for a title appearance, challenging NXT Women’s North American Champion Zaria.
No specific details regarding Diggs’ injury were revealed when she was removed from the show on Monday morning. While no official statement regarding what happened has been released, a new photo from Diggs shows that one of her arms is currently being held in place by a sling.

“I’ll be back and I’ll be champion,” Diggs said on X, alongside a photo of her arm supported in a sling. “Thank you guys for all the love.”
Diggs has become a frequent name on WWE’s EVOLVE web-series in recent months. She earned a shot at Zaria’s belt by prevailing in a four-way #1 contenders match on an NXT episode earlier this month, beating Izzi Dame, Lizzy Rain and Thea Hail.
Diggs is currently part of a faction formed by veteran Nattie in NXT.
